Hello there, I’m Pieter and your run-of-the-mill health and fitness nut.
I’ve been vegan since 2018 after being vegetarian for 6 years. I started my journey from a moral perspective, before making the switch to veganism after finding out the health and sports performance benefits. As such I have found that I perform at my best while being vegan and so shy away from animal products as they do not benefit me.
I have a passion for health, nutrition and fitness; so when I’m not researching and learning anything I can on all of these subjects, I’m applying what I learned to myself to find what works best for me.
I bounced from sport to sport (interesting to know that I started my fitness journey at the same time I went veggy) going from Parkour and Calisthenics, to Muay Thai, Fitness, and OCR to now settle on OCR, Fitness, and CrossFit. I have participated in a few OCR races and managed to sit in the top 20 every time.
Safe to say that sharing my knowledge and experiences in fitness and nutrition is something I enjoy doing. It doesn’t matter if I can help only one person to better their lives – if I did, I’m already happier for it.
